EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM A GENERAL WORKER TO RENDER A CLEANING AND SUPPORT SERVICE AT CLINICS IN A DEFINED GEOGRAPHIC AREA FOR A THREE-YEAR CONTRACT PERIOD FROM THE DATE OF APPOINTMENT FOR A PERIOD NOT EXCEEDING THREE YEARS

The City of Tshwane has embarked on an initiative to improve and expand access to healthcare services through contracting personnel to render services to communities and households. This initiative is in support of the National Health Insurance (NHl) pilot project that aims to improve access to high-quality public sector healthcare services.

         GENERAL WORKER (1 CONTRACT POSITION): CITY OF TSHWANE PRIMARY HEALTHCARE CLINICS (HSDE384-2026)

QUALIFYING CRITERIA

• Ability to perform duties
• Basic literacy
• Related general worker experience in the health sector will be an added advantage
• Physical fitness and health
• Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS TO BE PERFORMED FOR EIGHT HOURS PER DAY FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY (11:00 TO 19:00)

The General Worker will be responsible for rendering the following general support services:

• Rendering a cleaning service
• Rendering a general safety and security service
• Performing general ad hoc tasks as requested by the supervisor

REMUNERATION: R13 358,00 per month

The General Worker will be contracted through a City of Tshwane contract.
