Job purpose

To provide comprehensive and extensive financial administrative and management support and to manage, coordinate and control daily financial and logistical operations for Region 4

 

Appointment 

requirements

An appropriate career-related tertiary qualification (three-year national diploma or degree) in Financial Management or Accounting or any study field related to the position

Relevant working experience in a related financial support and administration environment

Supervisory experience will be an added advantage

Compliance with the unit standards of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act 56 of 2003), as prescribed by Regulation 493 of 15 June 2007, as published in Government Gazette 29967 of 15 June 2007, will be an added advantage

A valid Code B driving licence

Computer literacy

SAP financial knowledge and experience will be an added advantage

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Deliver administration, auxiliary and logistical support registry and archive support operations

Ensure remuneration and benefit administration document flow operations

Ensure recruitment and selection document flow operations

Assisting in administrative support operations

Ensure asset and inventory management support operations

Manage report flow management support operations

Ensure messenger and catering / kitchen support operations

Render office occupancy and parking support operations

building maintenance support operations

Assist with quality insurance management support operations

Ensure effective meetings and events support operations

Assist with occupational health and safety audit and reporting

Assist with effective workplace safety inspections

Ensure a climate conducive to promoting and sustaining motivational levels, productivity, performance by directing and controlling outcomes associated with utilization, productivity, and performance of personnel within the section.
