Job purpose

To provide effective and efficient administrative support services

 

Appointment 

requirements

Grade 12

At least six months’ relevant working experience in administrative support services Computer literacy

SAP proficiency will be an added advantage

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary functions

Answer and screen all telephone calls

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence

Record information

Type reports, letters and minutes according to needs

Maintain priority files of reports and correspondence

Assist clients, customers and internal staff by requesting and providing information and maintaining friendly interactions

Make copies, mark mail out and dispatch mail 

Keep daily staff attendance and movement sheet up to date

Arrange venues for workshops and meetings

Prepare documents necessary to conduct workshops and meetings

Take minutes of meetings for the unit

Distribute agendas and minutes in time before meetings
