Job purpose

To perform the daily processing of all transactions on bank statements, all transactions with third-party pay points and cashiers over- and underbank transactions to ensure accurate, complete and timely recording of transactions

Appointment 

requirements

Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accountancy

At least six months’ relevant working experience in a financial environment

Banking experience will be added advantage

Computer literacy

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own

Primary functions

Conduct daily downloading and processing of transactions on bank statements

Perform the recording of transactions regarding third-party payments

Clear under- and overbanking of third parties, bank collections, cashiers and outside pay point general ledgers

Process journals

Perform general ledger reconciliations

Attend to payment enquiries
