Job purpose

To offer external and internal office accommodation services to client departments

 

Appointment 

requirements

Grade 12

Relevant experience in the property industry

Physically fitness and health to conduct site inspections

A valid Code B driving licence

Computer literacy

Willingness and ability to work in outdoor and indoor office environments in any of the regions of Tshwane

Willingness and ability to work standby and overtime when necessary

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost 

 

Competency requirements of the post

Good problem-solving skills; good interpersonal skills; knowledge of basic financial, ICT and legal principles; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy; time management skills; ability to understand and perform according to work instructions; willingness and ability to work as part of a team

 

Primary functions

Provide external and internal accommodation services

Conduct accurate assessment and monitoring of asset, facility and billing information

Conduct physical site inspections and assessments

Conduct inspection, occupancy and vacancy reporting

Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety and other relevant industry standards

Assist in the allocation of office accommodation in consultation with the managers’ office

Execute instructions received from the supervisor for all related tasks regarding office accommodation

Provide necessary support to client departments

Capture and maintain office space and parking databases

Administer deductions, cancellations and refunds for parking

Receive internal and external applications

Assist with hall bookings and venue readiness

Assist with contract management

Keep records of leases and billing
