Job purpose

To render an efficient and effective administrative, financial, personnel, logistics, secretariat, IT and record management support service to the Occupational and Employee Health, Safety and Wellness Section

 

Appointment 

requirements

Grade 12

At least two years’ relevant working experience in an administrative and financial support environment

A valid Code B driving licence

Computer literacy – Word and Excel

SAP system and e-Procurement system knowledge will be an added advantage

Knowledge of the BMC Remedy Mid Tier 9.1 system Arsys-prod (new insurance claim system) will be an added advantage

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

 

Competency requirements of the post

Knowledge of the budget-, procurement-, financial-, asset-, record management and personnel procedures and policies and general administration; have a broad knowledge of municipal financial procedures and policies; understand administration principles and supervisory processes

Render administrative support services for the section

Render cost-effective financial support services to the section

Render a personnel support services function

Render a logistic support service to all occupational health clinics regarding asset control and verification

Render a secretariat support service

Render an archive and records management support service
