Job purpose

To deliver effective administration and auxiliary support services to the department

 

Appointment 

requirements

An appropriate three-year career-related tertiary qualification (degree or national diploma) in Public Administration or Management, Business Administration or any other field of study related to the position

At least six years’ relevant working experience in a support management environment

Supervisory experience will be an added advantage

A valid Code B driving licence

Computer literacy with experience in SAP

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary functions

Execute generic personnel management functions

Deliver administration, auxiliary and logistical support services

Monitor adherence to human resources and office policies and procedures

Ensure optimal and correct use of resources of staff and office machines

Ensure registry and archive support operations

Assist in administrative support operations

Ensure asset and inventory management support operations

Render office occupancy and parking support operations

Ensure telecommunication and IT support operations

Provide word processing support operations

Provide fleet management support operations

Ensure effective meeting and event support operations

Assist with occupational health and safety audit and reporting

Assist with effective workplace safety inspections
