Job purpose

To coordinate activities and requirements associated with the Strategic Cluster Operational Support Division in respect of cluster risk management, individual performance and relevant governance matters

 

 

Appointment 

requirements

A three-year career-related tertiary qualification (degree or national diploma) in Public Administration, Business Administration or any other study field related to the position

At least six years’ relevant working experience in an administrative support services environment

A valid Code B driving licence

Computer literacy

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary functions

Render governance support services

Compile tracking registers for the implementation of Executive Committee, Mayoral Committee and Council committee resolutions

Attend meetings and draft minutes as and when required

Participate in and become a champion member or representative of departmental committees or forums as and when required.

Perform ad hoc duties as and when required as it relates to the governance and compliance support function

Maintain a corrective action register for non-achieved key performance indicators

Coordinate Chief Operations Officer cluster risk register and related matters

Coordinate Chief Operations Officer cluster coaching sessions and related administrative processes, including performance agreements and monthly or quarterly verification of evidence
