Appointment requirements |
An appropriate three-year career-related qualification (degree or national diploma) in Mechanical Engineering or any study field related to the position At least eight years’ working experience in the maintenance of heavy vehicles Managerial experience will be an added advantage Project management experience will be an added advantage Asset management experience will be an added advantage A valid Code B driving licence Computer literacy Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost |

Lead and guide staff within the Tshwane Bus Services Maintenance and Fleet Section Manage and control the annual budget of the section Coordinate the approval and implementation of technical and fleet strategies Ensure an effective fleet and maintenance management system Ensure compliance with legislation, like environmental management and occupational health and safety |
