EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM AN ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER TO RENDER GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES AT CITY OF TSHWANE PRIMARY HEALTHCARE CLINICS IN A DEFINED GEOGRAPHIC AREA FOR A THREE-YEAR CONTRACT PERIOD FROM THE DATE OF APPOINTMENT FOR A PERIOD NOT EXCEEDING THREE YEARS
The City of Tshwane has embarked on an initiative to improve and expand access to healthcare services through contracting personnel to render services to communities and households. This initiative is in support of the National Health Insurance (NHl) pilot project that aims to improve access to high-quality public sector healthcare services.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (1 CONTRACT POSITION): CITY OF TSHWANE PRIMARY HEALTHCARE CLINICS (HSDE383-2026)
QUALIFYING CRITERIA
- Grade 12
- At least six months’ relevant working experience in primary healthcare facilities
- Computer literacy
- Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS TO BE PERFORMED FOR EIGHT HOURS PER DAY FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY (11:00 TO 19:00)
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for rendering the following general administrative support services:
- Discharging administrative support to the primary healthcare clinic
- Receiving, recording and supplying materials for and to the primary healthcare clinic
- Communicating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Conducting records management
- Providing operational and logistical support to the primary healthcare clinic
REMUNERATION: R21 234,00 per month
The Administrative Officer will be contracted through a City of Tshwane contract.
