Appointment requirements |
Grade 10 At least six months’ relevant working experience as a tractor driver will be an added advantage A valid Code B/EB driving licence Physical fitness and health Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost Willingness and ability to work shifts |

Execute tractor operations Conduct manual pre-starting checks Conduct manual engine starting operations Conduct manual post-starting checks Conduct daily care of tractor Implement tractor controls through power engagement controls and positioning and adjusting controls of various implements Conduct land cultivation using different implements Conduct basic record-keeping on use and hectares cultivated Apply personal protective equipment Conduct preventative maintenance Attach implements Cut grass, clear open spaces and remove rubble Prepare sites for new developments Ensure that all principles and guidelines as prescribed by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act 85 of 1993) are adhered to |
