Job purpose

To render general routine work at the Bosman Street Workshop

Ability to execute duties

Basic literacy

Relevant experience in providing cleaning services in a workshop environment will be an added advantage

Physical fitness and health with the ability to lift, carry and move heavy objects

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary functions

Perform general work by sweeping the workshop floor, cleaning out drains and pits, and cleaning work levels and machines

Clean all tools allocated to the artisan

Report any lost or damaged tools

Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act 85 of 1993)

Execute instructions received from the supervisor
