Job purpose

To collect raw water and water samples from all applicable water sources as required by the technical staff for testing in the laboratory and collect samples for water quality complaints

Appointment 

requirements

Grade 10 with Mathematics and Science

At least six months’ relevant working experience in a laboratory environment

A valid Code B driving licence

Computer literacy

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary functions

Collect samples at various points across the city

Conduct site inspections where there are water quality complaints

Assist with chlorination of reservoirs using HTH

Take responsibility for the vehicle in use
